VA Mortgage Center.com was instrumental in the purchase of our new home and their commitment to customer support was beyond reproach. My representative, Kris Maple and her team, were cordial and open to the many changes and requests that I had towards the closing. They showed the patience of Job throughout the process as I questioned the process, the closing costs, and many other aspects of the transaction. Ultimately, it was their ability to close on my house in three weeks that validated their intention to provide me with the absolute best customer support. Additionally, they were thorough in that they questioned me to see if I had a VA disability rating (which reduces the VA charges).

As to the negative posts, I cannot agree with their comments because I did not experience any delays, misrepresentation, nor poor communication with my representatives. As those posts do not fully explain the "full story" of their situation I would not utilize their posts in your decision to us VA Mortgage Center.com. Keep in mind that I had all of my requirements ready to go and I was very pro-active in making sure the correct documentation was accurate and received.

Ultimately, I had five VA mortgage representatives across the financial market wanting to represent me and close on my purchase and I made the right decision by going with VA Mortgage Center.

I just closed on my house on June 30, 2011. I went through VA Mortgage Center.com as they were the first listing that showed up when I browsed for VA lenders. The process started in late May when I began exchanging information with Don Neely. I could not have been happier. I was very clear on what I wanted, expressed the maximum I was willing to pay, the rate I wanted, and gave a timeline. Don was more than helpful in helping me meet each and every goal. I always have believed that trust is not given but earned, so I made sure to do all my own research and ask a ridiculous amount of questions. Don replied to every email within 24 hours, never gave inaccurate information, and was able to get me a rate much better than what I was hoping for. All in all, I had a great experience, and as a 1st time home-buyer who has heard every horror story available from family and friends and friends of friends, I don't think I can thank this company and Don enough for making it so smooth! I love my house and don't plan on selling or buying anytime soon, but if I did, I would go through VA Mortgage Center again, and I would call Don directly. I am already recommending him to all my veteran friends in this area.

My experience with VA Mortgage has been SUPER from the beginning Gina Fitzmaurice has gone out of her way to help us. I started looking for a home in the Fort Benning, Georgia area. My wife got sick and I had to put my plans on hold. In the mean time my boss decided he wanted me to be able to work all over the state of Georgia and South Carolina so we changed plans to move to the center of the state, I would be working out of the home office in Atlanta. Gina instructed me to contact Re-max over Atlanta. To meet Julie Fogard, again a super choice (if you want a house contact her). We found a house on a short sale. What a headache! I had no idea what I was in for BUT if it were not for Gina, Tamara Gillespie (File manager for Gina), and Julie we would have walked away from a Great home with a Great PRICE. My wife is doing better and she is happy with our new home. Again thanks to you all.

Great service. Our loan officer was extremely knowledgeable and contacted us frequently with updates. The interest rate we received was amazing as well as the speed of closing the loan. VA Mortgage Center really cares for their customers and treated us extremely well. Would recommend to anyone!

Going through the process now and I have to say that Jeff C's review is completely acurate. I don't care what the propaganda says everything he has said is true. Two Weeks with little or no contact!
Faxed over paperwork numerous times without the loan officer recieving it. Loan officer has obviously not done a loan for a self employed person. After two weeks I recieved a question about my tax return that made my accountant laugh. continuing the process here because I don't want to start all over and risk losing the house we want. I really don't see this turning out well
