Sesame Place® is the only theme park based entirely on Sesame Street®. The park blends the character and spirit of the award-winning TV show with exciting rides, exhilarating water slides, captivating shows and furry friends. Guests dance and sing along with some of the world’s best-loved characters in the Neighborhood Street Party parade. Kids will laugh and learn at the three shows featured throughout the
park. At Sesame Place, guests can celebrate the holiday seasons too. The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular is a not-so-scary good time for all ages and the park is transformed into a winter wonderland during Sesame Place’s A Very Furry Christmas celebration. Visitors are invited to join the fun and celebrate being a kid – or being a kid again. Sesame Place is located 30 minutes north of Philadelphia and 90 minutes south of New York City.

While we try to keep our website updated, military and veteran discounts can change at a moments notice. Always check with the business to ensure the discount is still valid, and what ID(s) are acceptable for proof of service. Always have your proof of service available when redeeming a military discount.

This is a great place to take your little ones. It is only about 30mins from the base and offers free entry via the Heroes Salute program.
There are tons of water and dry rides for little kids so make sure you wear your swimsuit. They have lockers for rent that definitely come in handy. It gets pretty crowded during the summer months so I would recommend going on a weekday in the morning. If you go on the website you can see all the options for dining w/ the Sesame Street characters. We never did this though - the characters are always walking around and are very accessible.
I would recommend taking a picnic lunch to eat by your car. You can get a stamp for reentry. The food is not very good IMO but like most amusement places, the prices are high. The 2nd time we went, we ate our own food out by the car and saved lots of $$ and ate healthier than if we'd eaten in the park.
There is a character parade in the afternoon that the kids love.
This is a great day trip especially w/ the Heroes Salute free voucher.
