Don’t forget those who didn’t forget this country.

As a country we call upon our young men and women to defend our country and our interests from those who challenge our resolve. For every generation since the Revolutionary war, valor has never diminished nor wavered for those answered the calls of our nation. The only thing that has changed for those who are willing to stand in the face of death and fear with a stern face is…technology.

All of our men, women, and even our animals fight for their very lives for this great country, their family. But most of all is for a comradely that we all share.

As a veteran we love this country and would be willing to answer the call and stand with our buddies on the battlefield, but for our fellow Americans do not forget those who did not forget you and your rights. Do remember not all of us came back the way we were when we left, and that not all of us are able to cope with the nightmares that plague our dreams at night. If you see a veteran suffering or asking for assistance, do not turn a blind eye to them and think of them as nonproductive member of society. They did not turn a blind eye when our country was in need, and when they/we are in need, even a simple thank you can lift our heavy spirits and feel the warmth of what it is to be human once more.
