 Oct. 19, 2011This church is not Fundamentalist, KJV only like they claim. The use contemporary Christian music. Also, the Pastor screams at church members when they disagree with him and makes false accusations and hang up on you. He does not listen and wants things done his way. If you disagree with him he will threaten you by revealing your e-mails to him to the rest of the church to embarass you. He does not keep your personal conversations with him private. If you become a member here, you better be his "yes man" or he will kick you out of the church. Sadly, a very unGodly pastor. He allows a man to lead worship and teach Sunday School that is a rank heretic (ie: he teaches that Jesus was not omniscient at birth). Also, he allows materials that use other Bible translations besides the King James Version. I would stay away from this church, and the Pastor here is not trustworthy, deluded, and consistently misrepresents church members that don't agree with him doctrinally.  Jul. 30, 2011Small, close-knit church. We were invited to attend after trying several of the churches in the area. The members are welcoming and helpful. The nursery is set up to take care of infants to 3yrs old. Many of the members are military (you will see people in uniform on any given Sunday!) or farmers from outside of town. There are members who drive in from Burlington also. |
