Who We Are
Jetsetter is your most well-traveled friend, the one with great taste and inside connections, who you call when you need advice on where to go, where to stay, and what to do when you get there. We travel. There’s nothing we’d rather do with our spare time, and we’re guessing you feel the same. But it’s a wide, wide world, and working out where to go and where to stay can really eat into that precious time. That’s why we founded Jetsetter. We’re here to give you insider access, expert knowledge, and exclusive deals on the world’s greatest hotels and travel experiences. We are discerning curators, which means we only recommend places we love and would visit again. Everything else we leave out.
Since April 2013, Jetsetter has been a part of the TripAdvisor family of travel sites.
Jetsetter Verified
The Jetsetter Verified stamp means that one of our correspondents — more than over 200 journalists from the world’s top travel publications — has stayed at the property and confirmed it meets our standards. They test the things we all care about when we book hotels: the bed, the shower pressure, the concierge’s local knowledge, the cocktails (it’s a hard job), etc. Jetsetter correspondents know their stuff and they don’t mince their words: if breakfast’s better down the road or the WiFi’s spotty, they’ll tell you. And if a hotel isn’t up to scratch, you won’t find it on our Jetsetter Verified list.
Jetsetter Approved
We can’t get to all the hotels we want to introduce you to as quickly as we’d like because we’re a small team and we don’t let just any travel writer become a Jetsetter correspondent. The Jetsetter Approved stamp means a hotel meets our criteria — it has a big personality, great style and a sense of place — but we haven’t slept there ourselves yet. Have you? Brilliant: Smart, accessible properties in desirable locations with distinctive qualities that represent great value. Don’t expect everything, but there’s enough to make your stay uniquely enjoyable.
Limited-Time Sales
We believe that seeing the world in style shouldn’t have to cost the earth, so we always offer a selection of hotels and tours at up to 40% off the usual price (that’s connections for you). These deals are offered for a limited time of between five and 10 days only.
Permanent Collection
You can book our favorite hotels around the world round-the-clock at competitive rates. You’ll find everything from a private island retreat in the Maldives to a perennially hip fashion haunt in New York’s SoHo to a revitalized grande dame in dead-center London.

Our free iPhone and iPad apps allow you to experience all of our products on the go, and we’ve added exclusive features like Jetsetter Now, which allows you to book same-night hotel stays for up to 60% off, and destination features like our interactive New York Hood by Hood guide. You’ll also find 360-degree photography, multilingual directions, and tip-sharing capabilities. And because we know how crazy those data roaming charges can get, you can use these functions offline as well.
