At Blue Star Families, through our programs and advocacy, we strive to both support and improve the lives of all military families - active duty, veteran, and retired. Although all other Blue Star Families programs are open to our veteran and retired population, Blue Star Museums is for active duty families only. As much as we would like to see the program open to all, the pass for entrance is an active duty military ID. However, many museums offer discounts and specials for military families so be sure and check with your local museum. The program was originally set up for the families of deployed service member and we are pleased that we can open to all active duty.
